Torsion measurement requires an extra ~2 seconds of calibration, which is added to the normal calibration sequence. To enable it, you must tick the “Eye Torsion” checkbox in the FOVE Tray before calibrating.

Additionally, if starting calibration programmatically (such as from your own application), the FOVE SDK provides an option with the “startCalibration” function to run the Eye Torsion portion of calibration.

When torsion is not calibrated (even if gaze estimation is calibrated), you will receive the Data_Uncalibrated error when requesting torsion data.

In version v1.0, the torsion capability must be registered programmatically at the time that calibration is started for torsion calibration to occur.
